In a heartbreaking revelation, Jeremy Clarkson has announced that his beloved dog is facing a life-threatening condition and is currently undergoing surgery.
This news comes after the famed ex-Top Gear presenter and current Who Wants To Be a Millionaire host disclosed he had heart surgery due to an "unexpected deterioration" in his health.
Clarkson, the charismatic lead of Clarkson's Farm, recently had urgent heart surgery following advice from medical experts who warned him he was mere 'days away' from a potential disaster.
Barely hours after opening up about his own serious health scare, Clarkson reported another distressing situation: his cherished canine companion is battling a potentially lethal health issue.
Jeremy turned to Instagram to inform his followers about his dogs dire situation, telling them she was being operated on for pyometraa grave infection of the uterusthat can be fatal if left untreated. He posted a picture of his sick dog with the caption: "The poor thing is under the knife as we speak. She has pyometra. S*** week."
Fans rallied around Clarkson with messages of concern and hope. One sympathiser responded: "I'm really sorry, I hope she recovers."
Meanwhile, another struck a hopeful note, adding: "Aw it's always a massive worry but hopefully surgery is successful and she will make such a quick recovery, they bounce back much quicker than humans", reports Birmingham Live.
Jeremy Clarkson opened up about his health scare in his column for The Sunday Times, recounting how he experienced "clammy" sensations, "tightness in my chest", and "pins and needles in my left arm", which led him to seek urgent medical attention. Subsequent tests revealed a complete blockage in one artery and a near-total obstruction in another, putting him at high risk.
Clarkson detailed that after the alarming diagnosis, he was quickly whisked away for an operation where a stent was inserted into the blocked artery to ensure it remained open and restore proper blood flow to his heart.
