TV star Jeremy Clarkson has found another way to shock his fans by charging a mighty £200 for one item of food in his Farm Shop.
The former Top Gear host turned farmer currently owns two businesses in the Cotswolds - a pub called the Farmer's Dog, which opened last year, and the neighbouring Diddly Squat Farm Shop. His new pub has become a huge hit, but one appalled customer has taken to Instagram to share their 'disbelief' with the pricing in the Farm Shop.
One reviewer, known as theskepticstake on Instagram, shared a video of the shop. In the video, he says: "you pay £2 to park in a muddy field, and choose from the array of overpriced souvenirs that will end up in your bin. Like this bl**** candle, for £22."
But it was the price of one of the pies in the next shot that sent shivers down some viewers' spines. The shopper filmed a snippet of the huge pie on the stand, which was labelled: "Extra extra large made to order £199.99."
The Mirror reports that the shopper can be heard saying "enough pie to throw at your neighbour for £200", while filming the massive pie. The video then goes on to show "a litre of non-organic milk for £6.10, including the bottle," from the famous shop.
Many fans were left disgruntled after watching the video, as one wrote: "Is it seriously £200 for a pie?!" while another said: "I am wondering how they can justify prices like that.".
However, many people also defended Clarkson as one penned: "I’ve been to the shop several times and love it! Yes it’s expensive but so are so many other things (don’t get me started on Disney). It’s fun, live a little!" Another satisfied customer commented: "Couple of us took a Ride up from Bristol, It’s a great route through the Cotswolds and the pub itself did great food ( Had the Longview burger) on a summers day with the views the garden have it would be a great place to chill with a few beers."

This Instagram post comes after Clarkson was forced to issue a warning to those drinking at the new pub earlier this year. Clarkson had threatened to close the pub for good after a string of thefts at the establishment. In The Times, he wrote that those stealing glasses from the pub were costing him thousands, making it more difficult to make a profit.
He added: "Last Sunday 104 went missing. And that cost must be added to the £100 a day we spend on fuel for the generator, the £400 a week it costs to provide warmth on the terrace and the £27,000 a month we must spend on parking and traffic marshals to keep the council off our back."
