This wasn’t so “Fantastic Four” their marriage.
Jessica Alba confessed that she and her now-estranged husband Cash Warren were more like “roommates” years before the news of their divorce shocked fans on Wednesday.
The “Good Luck Chuck” actress made the revealing comment about her relationship on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Instagram show, “Before, During and After Baby,” in July 2021.
“It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates,” Alba dished in the video.
“You’re just going through the motions,” she added. “You have the responsibilities. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?”
Elsewhere in the conversation, the “Dark Angel” alum admitted that she often took their partnership for granted.
“We have, like, obviously the friendship, the comfort of, like, ‘you’re not going anywhere,’ and so sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, right?” Alba said.
“You don’t consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people’s feelings,” she continued. “So that is something that I think is a constant one to work on.”
She shared that the duo attempted to work through their problems by “confronting issues” and “being able to communicate when [they’re] unhappy.”
Alba, 43, and the film producer, 45, recently separated and are planning to divorce after nearly 17 years of marriage, a source told TMZ Wednesday.
It wasn’t immediately clear why the pair decided to end things and their reps did not return Page Six’s requests for comment.
The now-exes are parents to three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, as well as 7-year-old son Hayes.
