Love Island: Marcel reveals secrets behind the final episode in the Villa

Love Island star Gabby Allen is set for an explosive reunion with her cheating ex Marcel Somerville on the upcoming Love Island All Stars, and she's not holding back. The fitness guru and one-time Island favourite is returning to the villa, but she’ll get the shock of her life as her former flame Marcel will be there too – yep, in the very same South African love nest!

The couple originally connected on series three, lasting a solid year post-villa before Marcel did the dirty while they were on a lovers’ getaway. He hooked up with another woman at their hotel after things got rocky between him and Gabby.

At that time, Gabby accused her old flame of pulling a vanishing act amidst some heavyweight arguments. It’s all about to kick off as Gabby gears up for round two with Marcel. She hasn't been clued into who else will be joining her on the show, but she's braced for a face-off with Marcel and reckons it's time they sorted out their past mess.

Chatting to The Mirror among others, Gabby spilled the tea: "I'm going to be open to anyone and everyone who goes in. Obviously, there's a big elephant in the room - in that my ex possibly could be going in."

She added: "We haven't seen each other in six years, it's been such a long time. There's no hard feelings. It is what it is. I actually don't know how I can prepare for that. I'm preparing myself for him coming in and if he does, we'll cross that bridge when it comes to it."

Gabby spilled the tea on her current feels, saying: "We haven't spoken so I feel like there would be if he was to go in there would be conversations to be had. But I wish him all best, I hope that we could find some sort of common ground to you know, move forward and not look backwards."

She's keeping an open mind about patching things up with Marcel, who's in the middle of a messy divorce from Rebecca Viera after she allegedly played away. Gabby's all for clearing the air, keen on a chinwag to leave the past behind and maybe strike up a friendship.

"I'd like to actually have a conversation with him, and put it all behind us, and get some sort of friendship. We did go out with each other for a year; there's no reason we can't take a positive from it," she dished. Initially, Gabby didn't rule out rekindling the old flame, but then she slammed the door on that idea, insisting they might just end up mates after the separate dramas they've faced.

She confessed: "I feel like I haven't seen him for six years, and I don't know how I'd feel when I actually see him. So I'll come back to you on that one. But I think it was a big betrayal of trust. Even though I'm over it now, it was a big thing that happened. I honestly don't think I would get back with him. I think there's room for a friendship but I don't know if I could look at someone the same way."

She said: "It really knocked my like my trust because you know not only was it a cheating situation how it happened like the circumstances was just wild you know... As I said, it was a long time ago, but I feel like I built myself back up after that, you know, I've I feel like I've got my trust back in men. But you never know."

Gabby added with a glint in her eye that series two hottie Scott Thomas could be her next flame, revealing: "I heard that Scott Thomas is going in. I've known Scott for a long time anyway, but I think he has the attributes of someone I'd want. He's a little bit older. If there were a few options like that, a little bit older, a little bit more experience."
