The two began dating while Eric was still legally married to Keri Johnson. Eric and Jess were spotted packing on the PDA in Capri, Italy, while celebrating her 30th birthday. In October 2010, Eric finalized his divorce from Keri after five years of marriage.

November 2010

Hooray! Jessica and Eric got engaged after nine months of dating. Jessica was spotted wearing her new bling while she was at an appearance at Dillard’s in Kansas City.

Jessica revealed she was expecting her first child with her man. “It’s true, I’m going to be a mummy!” she captioned a photo of herself in a costume on Twitter. The performer told Us Weekly she was “going to wait” to get married until “after the baby” was born.

Following months of split rumors, Jessica confirmed that she and Eric had separated in January 2025.
