IT’S been more than a decade since Jessie J topped the charts, but she is still rolling in it.

Astonishing new figures filed for her firms this week reveal that she banked a whopping £7.6million in pop earnings last year.

That works out at nearly £28,000 per day and takes her ongoing earnings at Who You Are Ltd and Who You Are Touring Ltd to £9.9m.

But it’s not known how much she paid herself out of the money that was made.

She lodged the figures at Companies House but did not explain how she reached the massive sum, with industry figures suggesting she may have sold the rights to part of her back catalogue.

Either way, it’s certainly been a lucrative period for her and that shows she’s a savvy business woman.

Jessie, who has a one-year-old son Sky with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman, was dumped her label Republic last year and has been managing her own career.

The Price Tag singer, who is currently on tour in China, recently wrote on Instagram: “I have been managing myself and killing it tbh, and I am in the process of sorting the business side (which is 90 per cent of this industry) of leaving a label after 19 years and splits and cuts and money and the list goes on and on and on . . .  and I am a toddler Mum.”

But next year could be even busier for Jessie as she has teased that her first album since 2017 “will be released next year.”

There’s no denying she’s a fighter.

“A lot of my stuff, because we’re dealing with taboo subjects, seems worse than it actually is.”

He added of his audience: “It’s like I’m taking them by the hand through a scary forest, but it’s all right in the end and we can all laugh about it. That’s what comedy’s for, to get you through scary things.”
