Anyone watching I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here knows how challenging it can be on the contestants. Stars are forced to face their fears whether it be bugs, rats, heights, or confined spaces, resulting in lots of emotional displays and a very entertaining TV show. However, I’m a Celeb can be just as hard on the family of the campmates watching from the comfort of their own homes. People are left without sisters, brothers, wives— and in Danny Jones's case, without fathers and husbands.

McFly’s Danny Jones, one of the 2024 I’m a Celeb campmates, has already faced a Bushtucker Trial and revealed some emotional details about his struggles with anxiety, but his wife at home has been going through her own difficulties.

Last week, Danny’s wife Georgia Horsley revealed that she had packed up their family home and moved house, all while Danny was in the jungle. She put up a story detailing what a challenging week she’d had, but recently she put up another story that really showed the struggle of solo parenting.

She said, ‘So, I'm a bit of an emotional one today, I think it's just been bubbling. Obviously, [a] house move on its own is stressful and then working at the same time, solo parenting and having a husband in a jungle.'

Danny and Georgia, who tied the knot in August 2014, welcomed their son Cooper in 2018. Georgia previously revealed that Danny has been sending a secret signal to his seven-year-old son to show he’s been thinking of him, but it now seems like she’s missing her husband even more.

The former Miss England continued, ‘I think today it's just kind of come to a head and the last thing I want to do is not be my authentic self which is what my Instagram is. I show real life, I show who I am, I show ups and downs and highs and lows so that you guys feel… less lonely with anything that you might be struggling with.

‘I'm just a bit tired and just making sure I'm looking after everyone and making everyone happy.’

She added that she still hopes fans will vote for Danny as much as they can. ‘Vote for him to do trials, vote for him to win, because we are so proud of him, and he needs to stay in for as long as possible. We will be going out there and supporting him.’
