Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has announced she is pregnant with twins. The “Boyz” singer posted an adorable snap on her Instagram this evening of her and her growing bump. She captioned the photo: “She’s eating for 3 now.”
In the polaroid picture, Jesy is sporting a big smile and cradling her belly, while her partner Zion Foster stood behind her. Fans quickly flocked to the comments to share their congratulations. Rosie Mac, Jesy’s friend, said: “Ah baby girl I’m so happy for you , what a wonderful mom your going to be.”
Multiple Little Mix fan-pages commented to show their support for the singer.
One commented: “Congratulations my beautiful baby! That's my niece or nephew right there. I knew it," while another user added: "Omg omg she’s a mommy now congratulations can’t wait to see you on your motherhood journey."
The X-Factor star’s post gained close to 100,000 likes in under 30 minutes, reports Mirror.
Back in September, it was reported that Jesy and Zion broke up. He confirmed the split when OK! Magazine released a video discussing the duo's romance and Zion commented: "Beautiful woman inside and out, wish her nothing but the best."
This touching tribute to Jesy prompted reactions from followers, with one sharing: "I've been crying all day since I heard this shocking news." Another chimed in: "Aww sad looked like a lovely couple."
The pair became an item in late 2022, united by their mutual passion for music but called time on their nine-month romance in August 2023. Speculation about their relationship has been rife, and though they have not confirmed, it seems they have patched things up and are looking forward to starting a family together.
The X-Factor star spoke about motherhood during a chat with Glamour, saying she was not sure if she would take the plunge in the future. She told the magazine: “It’s just not in me. I think as a woman, [motherhood is] either in you or it isn’t.”
She added: “You either have that maternal feeling or you don’t, and I’ve never had that feeling. I think women have to do what is right for them."
Jesy previously dated Love Island's Chris Hughes, Harry James and Sean Sagar. She also became engaged to Rixton's Jake Roche in 2015 but they called off their romance in 2016.
