Legendary podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has given his review of the hit Apple TV+ show Severance after finally checking it out.
It’s not very common for Joe Rogan to post about things unrelated to his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, but sometimes, he just can’t resist sharing his thoughts about certain subjects.
Whether it’s his carnivore diet or a matter related to mixed martial arts, Joe Rogan typically saves his feelings on hot topics for his JRE podcast, but when it came to Severance, he just couldn’t shy away from giving his review.
As the show’s second season continues on, Rogan shared his thoughts about it in two separate posts on Instagram and X, where he highlighted his love of the series.
Joe Rogan freaks out after binging Severance
Without giving too much away, the Ben Stiller-directed show follows the character of Mark Scout and how the memories of his personal life are separated from his work memories at Lumon Industries.
Joe Rogan believes this premise is exactly why fans should check out the show, which he dubbed “fantastic.”
Severance is a fantastic show. Completely original and totally unpredictable. Amazing writing, directing and acting. Just a totally unique show. Just finished season one and on to season 2 on @AppleTV pic.twitter.com/uy48TJlOgg

“Completely original and totally unpredictable,” he praised. “Amazing writing, directing and acting. Just a totally unique show. Just finished season one and on to season two on Apple TV.”
Some fans were surprised with Joe’s opinion on Severance and even asked if he was being paid to promote it.
“Is this a paid promotional tweet… or do you just really like the show?” one asked.
Others shared Rogan’s sentiment and called Severance “S-tier television” that will go down as one of the “better shows of the last 20 years.”

“Best show I’ve ever seen, right up there with Breaking Bad,” another agreed.
Fans even urged Rogan to have Ben Stiller and Adam Scott on his podcast to pick their brains about it.
It remains to be seen if Rogan will try to have the duo on, but if Joe ends up enjoying Season Two as much as he did Season One, we could very well get a Severance episode of JRE in the near future.
