Hailee Steinfeld loves and adores her fiance, Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen, but she was gushing over a photographer in her latest newsletter.

Steinfeld and Allen got engaged a couple of months ago, and a photographer she has used for a long time was there to capture the beautiful moment. Steinfeld admitted she was grateful that was the case.

Hailee Steinfeld Expressed Her Appreciation Her Photographer Capture Josh Allen’s Proposal

On January 26, Us Weekly shared tidbits from Steinfeld’s newsletter. In it, she gave photographer Kat Temkin a major shout-out for capturing many of her big life moments. Temkin photographed Allen’s November 2024 proposal to Steinfeld, and the “True Grit” star wrote, “Thank God (and Josh), that Kat was there on the day I got engaged.”

“No one could have captured that moment like she did and I’ll cherish her photos forever,” Steinfeld continued.

Steinfeld explained, “Over the past few years, Kat has photographed almost every big life moment: birthdays, work trips from London to Hong Kong, red carpets, and our ‘Beau Society’ launch party.”

The newsletter included an interview with Temkin, noted Us Weekly. The photographer shared, “Capturing a person at a point in their life is inspiring. Like when you and I started, that was so long ago, and now getting to capture you in a new light and this era of your life, that’s so inspiring.”

The Couple Became Engaged in November 2024

According to Us Weekly, Allen and Steinfeld began dating in the spring of 2023. He proposed in November 2024 and arranged for Temkin to be there to capture it all.

Allen chose to pop the question under a rose-covered archway, where he had lit candles on the ground surrounding the archway. He proposed during a bye week for the Buffalo Bills. The spot he chose overlooked the water and he surprised Steinfeld with the proposal at sunset.

In the December 6, 2024 edition of the Beau Society newsletter, Allen admitted he was “very nervous” about the proposal.

In December, Us Weekly shared some excerpts of what Allen shared. “I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” he wrote.

“It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be,” Allen continued.
