JOSH Duggar will serve his entire 151-month sentence and will not be released early as he has been seen for the first time in years while serving his 12-year prison sentence.
Duggar, 36, is currently serving a 12-year and 7-month prison sentence on child pornography charges with a release date of October 2, 2032.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Duggar will be released from FCI Seagoville in Dallas, Texas on the day of his scheduled release.
Beverly Hills attorney Adam Michael Sacks, who has represented clients in federal prison, exclusively told The U.S. Sun, “In federal prison you need to serve your whole sentence.
“If his release date is October 2, 2032, he won’t be out a day early.”
Duggar was arrested and charged with possessing and receiving child pornography in April 2021.
He was on house arrest before going to trial in December 2021.
Duggar was sentenced to 151 months, which is 12 years and 7 months, in federal prison in May 2022 and was transferred to FCI Seagoville in June of that year.
His legal team filed an appeal to overturn the conviction and have a new trial in October 2022.
The appeal was denied in November 2023.
The Supreme Court then denied the conviction appeal in 2024, as he will be serving his full sentence.

JOSH SIGHTING
The U.S. Sun obtained first photos of Duggar walking the track of the prison on November 22.
The spotting was the first time Duggar has been seen behind bars in two years.
Duggar appeared to be in good spirits while walking around the track.
The photos showed him wearing a brown shirt, shorts, sunglasses and sneakers.
He also showed off a mustache and facial hair, a contrast to his clean-cut appearance on the series.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star was last seen in 2022 when a prison photo leaked.
'INHUMANE CONDITIONS'
The U.S. Sun has reported on the "inhumane conditions" of the prison, including food service.
“They’ve been getting half portions of food for months,” a source close to a Seagoville inmate claimed to The U.S. Sun earlier this month.
“Grits, tiny portions of corn, half rolls, a couple ounces of deli meat, they’re serving them these crazy portions.
“People are having to buy food from the commissary or go hungry, it’s wild.
"Complaints from loved ones have gone nowhere.”
Seagoville responded to The U.S. Sun's request for comment, "FCI Seagoville provides all Adults in Custody with food that is consistent with the National Food Menu to include portion size.
"We take all complaints about the institution and services provided very seriously, and all complaints are fully investigated.
"Currently, FCI Seagoville has not received any complaints regarding any aspect of the institution's Food Service Department."
The source also told The U.S. Sun back in January 2023, “The food they get is regularly expired. They're just like really disgustingly expired, always by at least a couple of weeks. And it's like milk. All sorts of, like, stuff that can’t be expired for that long.
“They had a run of cereal that had bugs in it, and so people just couldn't eat their cereal because it was filled with bugs.”
The insider continued to allege that the prison runs out of food at times.
The source claimed, “It's only ever been like a one or two-day thing at a time, but the portions are also small enough to where if you can't afford to buy food on commissary, you're going hungry.”
SPECIA TREATMENT
Despite the harsh conditions, The U.S. Sun previously reported Duggar does have privileges behind bars, as he lives in a renovated dorm with special amenities.
“They finished painting the walls and getting flowers put into Dorm 6, where Josh lives. It's been turned into an honors dorm,” a source claimed to The U.S. Sun.
“They get special privileges and building updates because it’s an honors dorm. There are washers and dryers, microwaves, and more.
“They're trying to create a dorm of model inmates.”
Duggar does not have the qualifications to live in the dorm, as the insider believes he may be getting special treatment because of his celebrity status.
“Josh apparently doesn't work, but he is getting a degree, and they're counting that as an exception so he can stay.
“According to the rules, he would be disqualified from living there because of his SHU time a couple of years ago, but they've decided to waive that for him.”
A representative from Seagoville responded to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment regarding the lush dorm, “Unfortunately, FCI Seagoville does not comment on conditions of confinement.”
In February 2023, Duggar was thrown into FCI Seagoville’s Special Housing Unit, better known as solitary confinement, when he snuck a cell phone into the prison.
He was released from the SHU in March of that same year.
Seagoville declined to respond to The U.S. Sun's request for comment on Duggar.

The U.S. Sun previously reported on the recreational activities offered at the prison daily.

Inmates get recreational time in the early morning and later in the afternoon.
