Thomas Brodie-Sangster, known for his heartwarming role as Sam in the festive favourite 'Love Actually', is now a married man – and you won't believe who his wife is.
The former child star, who has matured into a versatile actor at 34, boasts an impressive resume with roles in hits like the Maze Runner series, Game of Thrones, and The Queen’s Gambit.
But if you're late to the scene and only just watching Love Actually after the Christmas period, you'll be amazed to know how Elon Musk is somewhat linked to the iconic movie. And Brodie-Sangster isn't a little boy anymore as he's married to Musk's ex-wife.
Talulah Riley, 39, began her acting career on the small screen with parts in Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Marple, before taking on a main role in E4's short-lived series Nearly Famous. Her filmography includes Pride and Prejudice, St Trinian's, The Boat That Rocked, and more.
She made headlines in 2008 as Elon Musk’s mistress, later becoming his wife. The Tesla CEO divorced his first wife, and the mother of their five children, Justine Musk, and went on to marry Talulah twice – first in 2010 and again in 2013 after their initial divorce in 2012. Their second marriage ended in 2016.
It was on the set of Pistol, the biopic about the Sex Pistols filmed in 2022, that Riley and Brodie-Sangster's paths crossed, leading to romance. On July 27, 2023, Brodie-Sangster took to Instagram to announce their engagement.
He posted a charming photo of them in a gondola with the caption: "Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged. Love is all around X."
The 1967 classic 'Love is All Around' by The Troggs was famously given a festive twist by Bill Nighy's character Billy Mack in the hit film Love Actually.
Fans have taken to social media to express their surprise and joy at discovering the child actor from the beloved movie is now married to none other than Musk's ex.
