Jurassic World actress Daniella Pineda has revealed she lost her home and almost all of her belongings to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Pineda posted a carousel of four photos and one video on Instagram of the wreckage that was left from her house burning down.

“This was the first house that I ever bought. My very first. The fire broke out so fast all I could grab was my dog and my laptop and that was it. I lost everything else. I have 1 pair of shoes to my name,” Pineda wrote in the caption.

She continued: “I’m happy to be alive. Grateful to be alive. People really show up for one another when disaster hits. Thank you to everyone who offered to help me.”

Pineda also reflected on what matters most to her during this tragedy: “This may seem silly to some, but I had two Beta fish that I absolutely loved. Always made sure their temp was just right, spoiled them, played with them. Loved them. They were precious and brought me joy everyday. Things are things, they are meaningless. Living creatures, humans, our environment, this is what matters.”

In a series of recent Instagram stories, the actress shared that she received new clothes and promoted GoFundMe fundraisers for others affected by the fires. She also wrote: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me with love and support. I am sorry if I have not responded to messages. … The newest 2020 is…. 2025!”

Additional celebrities who confirmed they lost their homes because of the wildfires include Diane Warren, Billy Crystal, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Cary Elwes and more.

Pineda is next set to star in The Accountant 2, which will release later this year and is a sequel to the 2016 film. Along with Pineda, Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal and J.K. Simmons are all returning.
