Justin Bieber has been quick to address the 'harmful' drug rumors from fans surrounding his health during a recent appearance.

A few images of the Canadian singer went viral where he appeared to look gaunt and hollow-eyed, The Daily Mail reports.

This led many social media users to express concerns about his health, with some expressing their belief that he looks 'unhealthy'.

"He’s obviously not looking healthy tbh." one person claimed, while another said: "I hope he’s ok, I don’t like to see my brothers unhealthy."

Now, the singer's reps have slammed the allegations in a statement.

Bieber's representative told TMZ: "The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true," adding that Bieber is actually 'in one of the best places in his life.'

The star is apparently focused on 'actively parenting his newborn son', six-month-old Jack Blues with his wife, Hailey Bieber, while working on making new music.

His representative also said the dad has had a 'very transformative' 12 months, cutting ties with several close friends and business relationships 'that no longer serve him.'

Yet comments about Bieber's health are only 'exhausting' him as his rep slammed critics as 'pitiful' and 'committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.'

The rumors come as the father-of-one has been frank about his drug abuse in the early years of his career and spoke out about his battle with addition in 2020.

The former child star said he smoked cannabis from the age of '12 or 13' and went on to drink a cocktail of drug-laced drinks, known as lean, while taking pills, MDMA and psychedelic mushrooms.

Speaking about his troubled past in his documentary series, Justin Bieber: Sessions, the star said he struggled to cope with his sudden launch into worldwide fame and turned to 'pretty heavy drugs'.

He revealed in his docu-series that it turned 'legit crazy scary' with security and staff frequently checking on him while he was asleep to check for a pulse.

"I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day. It just got scary," he recalled.

Fortunately, Bieber decided to pursue sobriety after saying he felt like he 'was dying.'

The news comes as Bieber shared a somewhat cryptic poem on Instagram just days ago on February 20.

The musician wrote: "It's time to grow up! Changing is about letting go! Not trying harder!"

He continued: "Today I'm letting go and remembering. The weight isn’t on me to change. The weight is on God. So I give all my insecurities and my fears to him this morning because I know he gladly takes it.

“Asking Jesus to genuinely help me with simply the next step today,” he concluded.
