On Tuesday morning, an employee at San Francisco's Fairmont Hotel was arrested for allegedly bringing a loaded firearm to work during Vice President Kamala Harris's stay, according to ABC.
Around 7 a.m., the U.S. Secret Service detained the individual as he attempted to enter the hotel with the weapon. San Francisco Police Department officers discovered the employee had an outstanding arrest warrant from Tarrant County, Texas.
San Francisco police say magnetometers set up by the Secret Service detected the firearm Tuesday morning.
The firearm was confiscated, and the employee was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
