Kanye West is sending a strong message to his competition — and that technically includes ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
On Tuesday, January 21, the 47-year-old rapper announced via his Instagram Story that he is launching a women's clothing line as part of his Yeezy fashion collection.
"Yzy women's coming next. SCALING INNOVATION," the "Jesus Walks" artist began the caption of his post, which included a photo of a black bodysuit.
"For anyone in clothing that doesn't work at Yeezy be afraid Be very afraid," West continued. Kardashian — who shares four children with the Grammy winner — notably co-founded SKIMS, her women's shapewear brand during her marriage to West. (Despite their split, the rapper still owns a 5 percent stake in the company, per Forbes.)
West — who lost major brand partnerships, including Adidas, after his antisemitic rants in 2022 — further noted in the caption that he has a "John Wick vendetta against every fashion company."
After several years of laying relatively low — following his public split from Kardashian and subsequent online outbursts — the "Gold Digger" artist has been promoting new projects on Instagram as of late.
On Monday, January 20, one day prior to his Yeezy announcement, West shared a rare post of his and Kardashian's 11-year-old daughter, North, gushing, "This little girl made me love music again."
"She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY," he continued, referring to his upcoming album, Bully.
