Katie Price becomes an aunt once again as sister Sophie gives birth

There’s a new addition to Katie Price’s family, as her sister has given birth to her second child.

Sophie, 34, announced this evening that she had welcomed a daughter, sharing a sweet video of herself holding the newborn in her arms.

Smiling at the camera, the new mum sat upright in her hospital bed as the little one lounged peacefully, already sporting an impressive head of brunette hair.

Sophie also revealed her baby’s full name as Olive Florence Beatrix Brooks, who is the younger sibling of her son Albert, three.

‘Our little family is complete’, Sophie wrote in her caption.

She added that she and her partner ‘couldn’t be happier’.

Taking to the comments of Sophie’s post, fans were quick to congratulate her and also express their love for the quirky moniker.

‘Brilliant news! Well done Mum, baby Olive looks a dream. ❤️’, said jodiee_jodes.

Sophie shared a series of photos on her Instagram Story as well, revealing that sister Katie was present when baby Olive came into the world.

One snap saw Katie, 46, dressed in a blue tracksuit, beaming with her arm around her sister, as well as one taken mere moments after Olive arrived, snuggled up to her mum’s chest.

Sophie kept her 121,000 followers updated throughout her pregnancy, before having a scheduled Caesarean section yesterday.

Sharing a selfie with her other half, Harry Brooks, she wrote ahead of the procedure: ‘Today’s the day… See you on the other side 💪🏻🙌🏻👏🏻’

Earlier this week, her reality TV star sister Katie left fans puzzled and believing Sophie had given birth to ‘twins’ by posing with what looked to be two newborns.

‘Finally my twins have arrived’, Katie wrote on Instagram with a red heart emoji.

However, it later transpired that the former glamour model had bought realistic dolls.

Katie said she was taking her role as an aunt seriously as she carefully considered what to name the dolls, which can cost thousands for the most lifelike versions.

The former I’m A Celebrity campmate, whose mum and dad were recently hospitalised, has five children of her own and has been open about her desire to have a sixth.

According to The Mirror, she is set to create a Channel 4 documentary about her IVF struggles.

A TV source told the publication: ‘We’ll see Katie go on a tough – and unsuccessful – journey to become a mum again. She faces lots of obstacles, ups and downs along the way.

‘The programme will shine a light on the struggles women face while trying for a baby in their 40s.’

Katie is currently in a relationship with boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 32.

She shares eldest son Harvey, 22, with ex Dwight Yorke, then Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with her first husband Peter Andre.

Katie also has two younger children Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with her third husband Kieran Hayler.
