The mum-of-five had invited cameras to follow her in 2023 - back when she was in a relationship with one-time Love Island contestant Carl Woods, 35 - while they attempted to conceive a child together. The pair visited fertility clinics and underwent treatment to boost their chance of having a baby together.
However, their attempts failed and Katie and Carl split soon after - with cameras catching all the highs and lows of their experience for the two-part documentary Katie Price: Making Babies. Car salesman Carl has previously hit out at the Channel 4 show, expressing frustration that the specials were airing two years after their relationship collapsed.
And it seems viewers were also unimpressed by the two-part docuseries - and have taken to social media to slam the show. Despite the candid nature of the two-parter, some have blasted it for being 'disrespectful'.
Viewers took issue when cameras showed Katie and Carl discussing potential donors and the kind of attributes they would have liked their potential child to have. Katie asked: "Right would you like them to have curly hair or straight? I like curly."

Channel 4)However, Carl had the opposite response, saying: "I like straight." Moving on, Katie observed: "Hobbies, you don't like hiking, you hate reading and you don't like classical and contemporary dance," to which he replied: "No."
The couple then dismissed a university-educated donor who "clearly isn't us", before Katie continued: "Next one - oh you only like this one because she says she's 24. Listen this isn't a dating app." Appearing to find a match, Katie was filmed exclaiming: "She's a good one number four." Carl then commented: "Four is my lucky number actually," before Katie said: "What's the brainy one again? It might be nice to have a little nerd. Brain over beauty."
However, her approach rubbed some viewers up the wrong way, with one writing on X: "You're disgusting giving rancid Katie Price IVF treatment for viewing figures. Give it to couples who may never get the chance to become parents."
Another slammed the show and its subjects, writing: "Watching Katie Price Making Babies - Absolutely disgusted! All about me!!! No respect for those who have been on the IVF rollercoaster. I treasure my precious miracle who took 6 transfers. She makes a mockery of the IVF process. Shame on #Channel4 for giving her a platform."

I'm ecstatic that it didn't work. I'm sure she's glad she's got the clean break. You know, we don't have any ties.
"So actually, yes, everything happens for a reason. God was looking down on me and Kate and said, 'you're not matched to be parents, let's not make this work. You go that way, I'll go this way'."
Katie is already a proud mother to her five children with sons Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, and 11-year-old Jett, and daughters Princess, 17, and Bunny, 10.
