KATIE Price has revealed both her parents have been rushed to hospital amid her mum's incurable health battle.

In a TikTok Live, Katie spoke about her family’s current health struggles, also sharing that her stepdad, Paul - who she refers to as her dad - has just undergone a significant heart operation.

She said: “My mum’s doing well. She was in hospital for 21 days.

"My dad’s just had a major heart operation… you’ve got to look after them when they get old. So there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.”

It's not the first time Amy's suffered a health scare this year.

Speaking on her and her sister's podcast, The Katie Price Show, the reality star told listeners back in February: “Mum ended up at the hospital because she had a burst cyst from an ultrasound.”

Sophie continued: “I had to take mum to A&E. The hospital were really good actually, we went to Medway hospital.

“Took mum up to A&E because she had a burst cyst, I think it was, but she is all fine.”

She explained: “She had an ultra-sound the other week and they burst it basically by accident. So we spent about six hours at A&E.”

In 2017, Amy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis [IPF], a terminal lung disease with a life expectancy of three to five years.

She underwent a lung transplant in November 2022 but last year said her health was still “up and down”.

Why ‘damaged’ Katie Price can’t stop being a ‘serial cheat’

Amy previously confessed that, before being offered a transplant, she felt she was in her "final year".

She said: "I gradually got worse and in 2022 I knew that was my last year because of the symptoms I had with the IPF.

"I could hardly breathe, walking was difficult, I was on oxygen more or less 24 hours [a day].

"When I was offered a transplant I just jumped at it."

Amy later revealed things were a bit touch and go during her surgery – so much so she briefly died on the operating table.

She said: "I went into cardiac arrest and they had to pump me to bring me back and I didn't know that."

Prior to the op, Katie opened up about her fears her mum wouldn’t be around much longer.

She said: “My mum is my absolute rock, my absolute best friend.

"To be told she’s got an incurable breathing disease breaks my heart. Sadly, she hasn’t got long left to live.”
