Despite these setbacks, Katie still hopes to have a baby with her new partner, JJ Slater. Katie has confessed that she "can't" watch it back, and it's reported that Carl is so distressed by the experience that he's attempting to prevent the screening, reports OK!.
"Carl doesn't want it aired it was filmed when the pair were a couple trying for a baby," an insider revealed. "It would bring back hurtful memories for him and it would open up a can of worms and demons he's worked hard to get rid of."
Back in the days of bliss with his then-fiancee and former reality TV queen, Katie, Carl was buzzing to tell the world about his family dreams. On Good Morning Britain in 2021, he gushed: "I would love children of my own," confessing, "Before this, I swore blind I would never date a girl with kids and I jumped in with five." Post their acrimonious split, Carl's singing a different tune about his ex, revealing last week: "I don't think she cares who she has a baby with, as long as she gets a baby. In that situation, it's not about who, it doesn't matter."

They add that the show will zoom in on "the struggles women face while trying for a baby in their forties".
An additional source has been quoted previously stating: "Katie is determined to show the raw and real side of IVF, and how it has been a deeply personal struggle for her. " Mum-of-five Katie recently shared insights into her IVF battles and burning wish to expand her brood on Olivia Attwood's podcast So Wrong It's Right, where she's spoken candidly about the challenge.
"You'll see a programme coming out, I can't even watch it," she confessed to Olivia about the upcoming documentary. "I've asked my sister to watch it back my IVF journey it's failed and failed. It's with the ex. People have got to remember if I act young or look younger, your body is still 46 and your eggs get less and they get older and it's harder." When Olivia probed whether she was certain about wanting another child, Katie responded, "Or two. It's going to happen one way or another. I don't know how, but I'm not giving up."

@carljwoods/instagram)Katie and Carl, who had an on-again-off-again relationship for three years and were even engaged at one point had a rocky relationship, before finally parting ways last year. She has since been smitten with MAFS UK star JJ, 32, and an insider informed us that having another baby is still very much on her agenda.
"She's desperate for another one," our source revealed. "She's seen her pregnant sister Sophie going through it again and she wants to experience it herself. She's said JJ's a girl daddy, and she would love another girl. And he would be an exceptional father. Returning from a recent holiday, she's told friends how thrilled she is about starting a family with JJ."
No matter what, Katie is resolved to have the child she longs for. In her autobiography This Is Me, released earlier this year, the former glamour model disclosed she already has a sperm donor lined up in the States. "I am going to have another baby," she penned.
"There is a clinic that currently has some donor eggs and sperm ready and is waiting for me to come in and have them implanted. I went through a list of suitable donors and I have chosen sperm from a man who is mixed race from America and although I potentially have one egg that would be viable, I have chosen to have a donor egg too."
