Kendra Wilkinson has a few “boo things scattered all over L.A.,” but the former Playmate is ready for something serious.
“I need a little bit of a level-up now. Just because I have a little sex every now and then, doesn’t make them more than that,” Kendra, 39, told People on Monday, November 18. “So, I am looking for a little bit more than that now,” she continued. “So, I’m definitely ready now.”
After the reality star’s divorce from ex-husband Hank Bassett in 2018, Kendra entered the dating game the modern way – through an app. That said, she hasn’t had the best luck getting accepted into the elite platforms.
“It’s hilarious because the universe is talking to me. I tried to get on Raya, and it’s been four years on the waiting list,” the Girls Next Door alum continued to the outlet. “I swear to God, and they will not let me in. So, the universe is basically saying, ‘We’re not ready for you. Dating world, Kendra is not coming in. You better, you better wait an extra five years.’ Because once Kendra enters the dating world, it’s on.’”
Even though Kendra is having trouble finding a partner, she has her hands full coparenting her kids, Hank Randall Baskett IV and Alijah Mary Baskett. In March, the former model opened up about her coparenting relationship with her ex-husband, whom she praised as a “supportive” father.
“He’s just very supportive. I’m very supportive. And we just keep things really, really healthy,” Kendra exclusively told In Touch at the time.
Kendra later explained that she and Hank, 42, raise their kids without drama because it’s as simple as “just putting all of your issues aside and just coming together to work together to make the kids’ lives great.”
As for the children, they are involved in extracurriculars, which both Kendra and the former NFL star support.
“Both involve some form of entertainment. But it’s my job to, you know, just make sure that they have a real good childhood and make sure that they have real memories and real childhood, you know, growth,” the former Dancing With the Stars contestant shared later in the interview.
Fans watched Kendra and Hank grow their family in her self-titled reality show, which ran between 2009 and 2011.
The year 2009 was huge for the former couple as they got engaged, announced Kendra’s pregnancy with their first child and, alas, got married at the Playboy Mansion.
Kendra and Hank temporarily split in July 2014 after Hank confessed to having an affair with transgender model Ava Sabrina London, while the family matriarch was eight months pregnant with their daughter. They reconciled that November.
That said, they called it quits for good four years later and amicably ended their marriage.
“Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man,” Kendra wrote via Instagram in April 2018. “I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. … U will prob see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate. Love wins in this case it’s just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed.”
Kendra and Hank finalized their divorce in 2019.
