Kerry Katona has opened up about her relationship status after she was seen holding hands with her pantomime co-star

Kerry Katona has spoken out after pictures of her holding hands with her co-star, Joe Chadwick, surfaced last week. The former Atomic Kitten singer, 44, is currently starring in a production of Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court Theatre and was snapped looking cosy with Joe, who plays Prince Charming in the show, as they arrived to rehearsals.

While the pictures had many wondering whether the pair were an item, following Kerry's split from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney last month, the star has now set the record straight. In her weekly column, she told OK!: "Last week I was holding hands with my co-star Joe and some people thought we were a couple, which is just hilarious – he doesn’t swing my way, I’m afraid! I’m definitely in no place to be getting into a relationship or dating anyone, so that won’t be happening with anyone right now, but especially not with Joe!"

While the pair are not in a relationship, Kerry did admit Joe is temporarily living with her as she added: "Although, he is staying at mine for a little while, and Katie [Price] has also been staying some nights, so I’ve had a very full house."

Alongside Kerry and Joe, Katie Price is also in the production and is starring alongside Kerry as they portray the wicked step-sisters characters. Admitting that having Katie close has been exactly what she has needed recently, Kerry said elsewhere in her column: "I’m feeling really grateful for Katie being here recently, I’ve been having a tough time since splitting from Ryan. It’s all felt overwhelming but she’s been supporting me throughout.

" It’s so nice to have someone who is in the industry and understands what I’m going through. JJ has been with her, too, which is nice, he’s really lovely. I’ve told her she isn’t allowed to go back home! We keep saying how fun it would be for us to move into a house together with all the kids and do a reality show, it would be carnage."

Kerry is being supported by her close friend Katie Price, who is also starring alongside her in Panto

Katie split from Ryan, who was was with for over six years, last month as she detailed a 'breach of trust' from the fitness trainer, but didn't reveal what exactly had happened. At the time, Kerry wrote in her column: "We are no longer together and It's been a really tough week - I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.

"I don't know if we'll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much. I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it's so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I've been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens."
