Kerry Katona and Katie Price have been the best of friends for years, and the former Atomic Kitten star has been supported by the mum of five since her split from Ryan Mahoney

Kerry Katona shared a heartwarming 'family Christmas pic' on Instagram, featuring her best pal Katie Price amid their recent support for each other.

Just days after disclosing in her magazine column her breakup with Ryan Mahoney and how Katie has been bunkering down at her Cheshire pad, the mum of five gifted fans with an adorable snap.

The photo displays Kerry's family - Molly, Heidi, Max, Lilly-Sue, DJ - alongside Katie and her son Harvey. All donned festive red pyjamas, beaming on the sofa, as Kerry captioned: "Merry Xmas from the Katona and price household," then adding, "Wishing for all your dreams to come too, @katieprice #merrychristmas @123_mollymc @lils.mc @heidikatona @maxkatona5 Dj and Harvey," complete with Christmas trees.

Fans poured into the comments section to show love, one fan enthused, "Two of my favourite celebs supporting each other, have the best Christmas all of you." while another chimed in with "Cracking pic Merry Christmas to you all have the best day xx", reports OK!.

The 'family snap' was shared just days after Kerry confessed that she 'didn't anticipate 2024 to conclude in this manner,' following her unexpected break up. "I haven't posted a video for some time, as I've been swamped with panto. But things appear to be spiralling out of control," she expressed while addressing her followers in an Instagram clip.

Kerry has been sharing the stage with Katie in the pantomime production of Cinderella, where they play The Wicked Step Sisters in Northwich. Kerry continued: "The main thing is I have wonderful children, I'm healthy and I have the most amazing and unexpected friends around me for support. I never imagined 2024 would end like this. Never. But there you go."

Kerry announced her surprising split from Ryan to OK! last month, confirming that he had moved out of their Cheshire mansion following a breach of trust between them. "Last week I mentioned how Ryan and I were going through a rough patch and now he has moved out of the house. We are no longer together and it's been a really tough week - I never thought this would happen. Without revealing too much, there has been a breach of trust between us.. I don't know if we'll be able to sort things out or not, but I still love him dearly," she penned at the time. The couple met on a dating app in 2018, and got engaged two years later.

Ryan proposed in Spain on her 40th during a family holiday, asking for the blessing of her five children.
