Kevin Costner can't stand that Jewel left him and calls the singer a drunk: 'Pathetic'

It seems as though Kevin Costner is desperate to get back together with Jewel, with reports suggesting he has been burning up the singer's phone.

The couple dated for a few months earlier this year before she decided to end their relationship.

However that isn't sitting well with the Yellowstone star, as Costner is said to be keen to get back together with Jewel and is doing everything to make that possible.

"He really had high hopes of settling down with her but nothing he does seems to work. His friends think it's pathetic, but after he has a drink or two, he seems to think anything is possible," and insider said as per RadarOnline.com.

"It doesn't happen every night, but often enough to be a bother. He's not used to being rejected, and Jewel jilting him after his wife dumped him for his friend did a number on his ego."

Costner's personal life not going well

Things haven't been going well for Costner since his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

She then began dating one of his former friends, Josh Connor.

Adding to matters is the fact that his 'Horizon' epic, which he helped finance with his own money, ended up being a flop.

"In years gone by, all Kevin had to do was walk in a room to get the girl. A lot of women find him attractive, including Sharon Stone, but he wants the one he can't have - Jewel - and it's frustrating him," an insider said.

"No one would blame him for feeling down and wanting to call Jewel late at night, drink in hand, but he's really not doing himself any favors."
