Kim Kardashian and her famous clan were forced to flee their plush pads as the devastating California wildfires rage on. The inferno has ripped through parts of the Golden State, including the Hollywood Hills and Sunset Boulevard, and has even licked the edges of Malibu – a stone's throw from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's residence.

The death toll has hit double figures since the blaze ignited, with at least 10 lives claimed by the flames. Weather experts warn that the crisis could escalate with strong winds on the horizon.

Five separate blazes are keeping firefighters on their toes, with the two behemoths in Palisades and Eaton charring a staggering 34,000 acres between them.

Insiders have revealed to the Mirror that the Kardashian-Jenner household made a narrow escape from their homes in Calabasas and Hidden Hills after a fire erupted along the LA-Ventura border last Thursday, threatening numerous abodes in the vicinity.

The notorious Santa Ana winds fanned the flames across 960 acres of brush by late afternoon on Thursday, with the situation worsening as the fire encroached on properties near Malibu Canyon, just north of the 1010 Freeway by Calabasas.

Commanders at the scene issued a stark warning, stating: "The challenging terrain and persistent winds complicate suppression activities, necessitating heightened vigilance from residents and adherence to directives from local authorities."

Airplanes have been tirelessly dousing the fires from above in an effort to extinguish them. Meanwhile, a man has been taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department on suspicion of arson in the Woodland Hills area, five miles from where the fire was sparked, reports the Mirror.

However, they stated that it's unclear whether the suspect is also connected to the Kenneth fire.
