Kim Kardashian 'conflicted' over daughter North's career as she's 'forced to be momager'

Kim Kardashian has admitted to having mixed emotions about her daughter North's burgeoning career and has revealed she feels 'forced' into the role of being a 'momager'

Kim Kardashian has opened up about the challenges of being a "momager" to her 11-year-old daughter North, revealing she's torn over her child's early career moves.

In a fresh snippet from her reality show The Kardashians, Kim confessed: "I thought I was busy before. North, me having to be her momager right now is crazy. It’s just, it was not on my list. It was not on my bingo card for this year." Juggling her daughter's burgeoning career has become an unexpectedly hefty commitment for the reality TV icon.

The mother-of-four, who shares North, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, five, with her former partner Kanye West, explained the extent of her involvement: "If she has a shoot, I have to be there all day, so it’s like her or me."

Kim has been grappling with how to strike the right balance between work and play for her daughter. She divulged in the teaser clip for the series, shared with PEOPLE: "I’m really conflicted on my daughter’s career, so we’re going to talk about that soon." Emphasising the importance of equilibrium in their lives, she added: "I just really want to make sure that everything’s really well balanced. All of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences. I just want balance."

In 2024, North took on the role of Young Simba in a production of The Lion King and also appeared on Kanye's track Talking / Once Again. A source close to the family has indicated that despite the demands of her daughter's rising stardom, Kim is currently "very much focused on being a mom".

The reality TV star, who dated comedian Pete Davidson from November 2021 to August 2022, reportedly has no time for romance at the moment. A source close to her has claimed, "She's not even dating anyone now. It's all about work and the kids."

Kim was recently praised for looking effortlessly chic shortly after her ex husband's wife, Bianca Censori, stunned with her daring Grammys outfit. Sharing a jaw-dropping carousel of her barely-there gown, which she wore to the 2025 Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala, a charity event, Kim posed in a sleek black leather dress with mesh panels.
