Kim Kardashian unveiled SKIMS to the world in 2019, and since then, we’ve encountered collaborations with the likes of Fendi and Swarovksi. Now, the American shapewear brand is collaborating with none other than Dolce & Gabbana. The iconic Italian design duo and SKIMS “unite to reveal curve-enhancing pieces for everyday confidence and unmatched sensuality”. The partnership doesn’t exactly come as a surprise. After all, Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with Kim Kardashian for their Spring 2023 collection, when the American socialite and billionaire businesswoman curated a collection with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, based on archival pieces from 1987 to 2007. In the Dolce & Gabbana x SKIMS advertising campaign, Kim (joined by sister Kourtney Kardashian) oozes la dolce vita via the lens of Nadia Lee Cohen and seemingly pays tribute to Italian screen icon Sophia Loren.
