Kourtney Kardashian is among the celebrities to have spoken out about the LA wildfires, although her posts have ruffled some feathers.

Branded as "tone deaf", Kourtney's posts about the wildfires have left fans and critics calling her out for being "insincere".

Some are even calling for Kourtney to donate money to those affected after "missing the mark" with her public posts.

Kourtney took to her Instagram stories to share a prayer that her sister Khloe had previously shared.

"I love this prayer my sister @khloekardashian wrote and asked us to say out loud, in Jesus name," Kourtney penned alongside the prayer.

She then shared a photo of the wildfires in LA that had information on sending a prayer to those affected.

Alongside the post shared on her stories, Kourtney wrote: "Loved this post on how loving it is to send a wave of prayer and thoughts and support to those in need and how we can do that."

Reacting to the posts on Reddit, one person said: "Or we could send money for shelters / food / clothes for those displaced by the fires."

Another added: "Yea I find this always the 'easy' way to approach this for celebrities. Stop flying your stupid airplanes, donate your money and be the change you want to see."

FANS SLAM 'TONE DEAF' POSTS

"Exactly," agreed a third, "She’s a millionaire, she’s actually in a position to help people out with more than thoughts."

A fourth person penned: "Thoughts and prayers are nice but they are just thoughts, Kourtney and Travis have a lot of money they can be donating which makes real differences in helping people other than sharing thoughts and prayers."

While a fifth slammed: "Yikes tone deaf."

A sixth person then added: "I’m all about praying but something about the way her post sounds makes it feel so insincere."

And a seventh said: "I just feel instagramming prayers is really missing a huge mark."

NOT THE FIRST TIME

This isn't the first time that Kourtney has been slammed for an insensitive and tone-deaf post.

In August 2023, the reality star was slammed and branded "insensitive" to Hawaii fire victims for an Instagram remark she made.

The reality star posted a series of snaps from a vacation she took with husband Travis Barker.

"The ocean calms the fire in me," she penned in the caption.

The post came just hours after wildfires broke out in nearby Hawaii.

"Maybe not the best time to say 'the ocean calms the fire.' When people in Hawaii were forced into the ocean because of a fire," penned one fan at the time.

Another then said: "Gross caption."
