Kyle Richards addressed the tense meal Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, were seen having on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills while appearing at a live taping of Watch What Happens Live earlier this week.

As she also reacted to Teddi Mellencamp‘s impending divorce from Edwin Arroyave, 47, and Garcelle Beauvais‘ many questions about her relationship status, Kyle, 55, spoke of Morgan Wade, 29, Lisa Vanderpump, 64, and more while also revealing the cast member she’d like to see back on RHOBH.

“I was very surprised to see [Dorit and PK] like that because that’s not the couple I knew. Of course, we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, but it was very sad,” Kyle admitted of her castmates’ on-screen chat about their marriage on the November 26 episode of WWHL.

As for Teddi, 43, and Edwin’s breakup, which has been followed by cheating rumors, Kyle wasn’t surprised.

“I speak to her every day, so I obviously knew there were problems going on, so I knew it was coming,” she explained.

During the taping of the episode, Kyle was seated beside Garcelle, 57, and she defended Garcelle’s questions about her relationship.

“I understand the curiosity,” she noted.

Kyle was then asked if she could defend Garcelle for calling Dorit a “Karen” over her complaints of an “attack.”

“That was a little bit harsh,” Kyle confessed. “I understood where she was coming from, but I think it was a little bit harsh. I don’t think Dorit meant anything like that.”

Throughout the first couple of episodes of RHOBH, Kyle has refused to say Morgan’s name, despite rumors linking them as a couple. And when Andy Cohen, 56, called her out for doing so, Kyle explained why.

“I’m trying to be respectful of someone who does not want to be on a reality show or discussed on a reality show. I’m just trying to be respectful. I’m signed up to do this. She is not,” Kyle stated.

While Kyle and Lisa have feuded for years, Kyle recently confirmed a friendly run-in with her ex-co-star.

“She was friendly-ish, Ken was friendlier. He gave me a hug. She doesn’t really hug now. It’s like, ‘Hello.’ At least she said hi this time,” Kyle shared. “It’s progress.”

Looking back at Dorit’s BravoCon diss, in which she failed to mention Kyle as her favorite Richards sister, Garcelle said that at first, she felt that Dorit should have picked Kyle.

“That’s been her friend. [But] when I saw the episode this week, I was like, ‘That was it?'” she admitted. “But Kyle feels there’s more that wasn’t shown to explain how she felt. I defend her.”

“There was much more that wasn’t shown … and apparently that comes up later,” Kyle teased.

Also on the main broadcast, Kyle was asked if she could defend Garcelle’s questions about the authenticity of Dorit’s home robbery.

“That’s a hard one because I always knew that that was true. We had kind of talked about that, that you had questions. I always knew. [And] I was also burglarized,” Kyle explained.

Later, during the taping of the WWHL: After Show, Kyle confirmed she and Mauricio Umansky, 54, are still “married on paper” and said she’s “not dating.” She then named Eileen Davidson, 65, as the cast member she’d like to see back on the show.

“I think I would bring … You know who I’ve been thinking about a lot lately? Eileen. I love Eileen,” she gushed.

She then looked back at Dorit’s “Gilded Age” disc hat.

“I was confused,” she admitted of the look Dorit wore to Sutton Stracke‘s party. “I was glad that Garcelle made the comment so that I didn’t have to. A lot about that theme of that party, to be honest, some people were telling me it was, like, sacrilegious to go to, so I got scared and freaked out about it, but I just went along with the flow and I thought, I don’t even know, maybe a disc is part of that.”

Also regarding Dorit, Kyle offered an explanation for her suggestion that Dorit had exaggerated their friendship in the past.

“What I meant in that moment, she was referring to a picture on a girls’ trip. We have never done things like that together. I have friends that come over in their pajamas, that will show up to my house anytime and I see and hike [with] every morning, and then we go to breakfast together. We didn’t have that kind of relationship so I said, ‘Why were you acting like we go on these trips all the time and I excluded you? You’ve never gone on my girls’ trip with me,'” Kyle shared. “But I do consider her a good friend, and we were angry and saying things back and forth.”

Looking ahead to their future, Kyle said she went into production on season 14 wanting to “repair” her relationship with Dorit because Dorit is “important” to her.

“It was very difficult. We had our ups and downs, but we did end on a better note. And then we kind of took two steps back. But I did see her recently at my sister [Kathy Hilton]’s house for a pajama party. We actually rode in the car together, [Erika Jayne], Dorit, and me,” she revealed.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
