Kylie Minogue Helps The Sunday Times Style Commemorate 30 Years of Print

1 week ago 1

Throughout the latter part of 2024, there’s been some major cause for celebration down at the newsstand. Vogue Italia celebrated 60 years of print with a selection of covers photographed by Steven Meisel. Sandra Hüller helped Vogue Germany commemorate its 45th anniversary and the likes of Jennifer Lopez was called upon to kick-start Interview‘s 55th birthday celebrations. The Sunday Times Style is the latest to celebrate a milestone, and welcomes back Kylie Minogue onto the cover to toast their 30th anniversary. The undisputed icon of pop poses before the lens of photographer Louie Banks for the occasion. Styled by KK Obi, the Aussie songstress poses in a mashup of pieces from Yohji Yamamoto, Mugler, 16Arlington, and custom Jawara Alleyne across four collectible cover offerings.

“Always down for some Kylie Minogue. However, the black and white cover was the only one required on this occasion. It feels the most celebratory and is the most flattering out of the bunch,” voiced vogue28.

“I won’t ever forgive Edward Enninful for not giving Kylie Minogue a British Vogue cover,” said jeje10.

“Beautiful covers,” admired forum member versustito.

Not everyone, however, was so convinced. “The covers are very bad, but it’s always nice to see Kylie,” confessed LastNight.

“It’s not great, but at least the word icon is being used appropriately,” blueorchid added.
