Fans of hit pop songwriter Lady Gaga are all saying the same thing about her new album.
The upcoming release of Mayhem has fans of the Poker Face and Shallow sensation talking, and some are saying there is one track they just cannot stop listening to in the lead up to Mayhem, her sixth studio album. The release will be the first solo work from Gaga in five years, and releases on March 7.
A post to X from Apple Music has asked fans how often they have streamed the latest single, Abracadabra, from Lady Gaga's upcoming album. Despite the song releasing on Sunday, it seems many have played it so much they have lost count.
Apple Music asked: "How many times have you listened to 'Abracadabra' since Lady Gaga's release on Sunday?"
One user wrote: "I've lost count completely." Another added: "Honestly... it’s been on loop or plays immediately after anything else I play." A third user joked: "I'm the reason she's #5 on Spotify Global let's just say that."
But not everyone is gaga for Gaga's latest track as some say just the one listen was enough for them. One user wrote: "To be honest I like the movie but not the song. Only one." A second simply wrote "zero" in response to being asked how often they had listened.
Another user suggested they had listened to the song "way too much" while some were managing to time listening to the track on their way to and from work.
One person shared: "I get about 6 plays on my commute to work each way, so AT LEAST 36 in my car. Another 36 at home I would say." A third joked: "I'm scared to actually know the number. I'm sure my monthly round up will tell me."
While many are listening to the track "as much as possible" as one user wrote, they will have another month to wait before the release of Gaga's sixth studio album. Gaga has released five albums between Chromatica and Mayhem, but this will mark her first solo, non-soundtrack album release in five years.
Last year saw the released of the Harlequin tie-in soundtrack, where Gaga was heard covering classics of the American songbook, a style she had previously used with her Tony Bennett collaboration, Love for Sale. Her work also featured on the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack and the Joker: Folie à Deux release.
In the meantime, fans are saying they are going to listen to the song on repeat until Gaga's album releases. One fan wrote: "It's already my most streamed track in 2025." Another added: "So many times! And it's still being replayed."
