Simon Guobadia‘s battle against Porsha Williams over posts she made about Erectile Dysfunction continues despite Porsha filing to have the case thrown out.

In Touch reported the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told the court she is not guilty of what she’s being accused of by her estranged husband.

ICYMI … In November 2024, Simon sued Porsha for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress over Instagram posts about ED.

Porsha’s defense:

Pilar’s mom clapped back at Simon Guobadia’s claims she defamed him by posting about erectile dysfunction. “Porsha, 43, told the court none of her Instagram posts mentioned Simon, 60, by name.”

“This case is centered around social media posts that discuss the topic of erectile dysfunction.” Simon “alludes to multiple media outlets that sought to connect the posts” to him. So, Porsha “cannot be held liable for wild speculation by these platforms coupled with the complete absence of factual or legal basis.”

Simon’s side:

The entrepreneur’s lawyer said, “[Porsha’s social media posts] have caused significant harm to [Simon’s] personal and professional reputation.” Also, the allegations “subjected him to public ridicule, and inflicted severe emotional distress.”

Simon’s “relationship with [Porsha] became contentious when she suddenly started making negative, false, and misleading statements about him on social media.” Additionally, she used “her outsized platform to negatively influence public perception of him.”

“These posts were intentionally crafted.” They implied that Simon “suffers from this condition, casting him in a negative and humiliating light. The nature, timing, and context of these posts led reasonable viewers to infer that [Porsha’s] statements were referring to [Simon] – because they were.”

The suit read, “[Porsha’s] statements were false; [Simon] does not have ED and has never suffered from or been diagnosed with this condition.”

Porsha’s protest:

The lawsuit argued, “None of [Porsha’s] posts refer to any particular individual, let alone [Simon] specifically. She cannot – and should not – be held liable for sharing information regarding a common condition. For this reason, and the reasons detailed herein, this Court should dismiss [Simon’s] Complaint in its entirety.”

Furthermore, “These posts simply provide information regarding a common condition. The defendant even uses the hashtag ‘Mens Health Awareness’ to draw awareness to the information that may help some of Defendant’s social media followers.”

Porsha “respectfully submits that the subject social media posts are not ambiguous.” Additionally, this “Court can determine whether they are defamatory as a matter of law.”

Simon has not and could not prove any injury to his business due to Porsha’s posts.

But, Porsha asked for Simon’s entire suit to be thrown out of court.

A judge has yet to rule. Stay tuned for information on this developing story.
