LeBron James Shows Support for Kendrick Lamar After Drake Diss

LeBron James seemingly responded to a recent slight from Drake by showing support for Kendrick Lamar ahead of his performance at the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.

"HE GONE KILL THAT đŸ’©!!!! CAN’T WAIT *Bart Scott voice,” James wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing a post from the NFL showing Kendrick’s appearance during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show.

While performing in Perth earlier this week, Drake delivered a noticeable change in lyrics to "Nonstop."

"How I go from 6 to 23, but not LeBron, man,” the Toronto rapper said, instead of the original line, which goes, "How I go from 6 to 23 like I'm LeBron?"

Drake's intentional change appears to confirm a fracture in their relationship, which most likely stems from the perception that LeBron has sided with Lamar in their explosive feud. James has been seen dancing to "Not Like Us."

The Los Angeles Lakers star followed that up by attending Kendrick's The Pop Out concert in Inglewood. LeBron was also recorded accurately rapping along to the GNX cut "Man at the Garden" during his 40th birthday celebration.

A freestyle from Drake surfaced last month in which several lines seemed to be alluding to James. The rapper appeared to suggest that he did not want the situation to escalate to the point where information started to leak regarding the person he was talking about.

"Talkin' 'bout we family, well, I'm not the cousin to visit / God forbid we ever got to tarnish your public image / All that brother talk as if I really discovered a sibling," Drake rapped.

Things took a dangerous turn when Akademiks confidently claimed James has cheating on his wife with women who were provided by Drake. From that point on, it would probably be in LeBron's best interest to "keep the family away."
