Liam Payne reportedly had drugs smuggled into his hotel in a box containing Dove Soap.
The One Direction star's death is continuing to send shockwaves around the world, as fans remain devastated at his tragic passing. However, as investigators continue their enquiries, more details about the singer's final days are emerging.
Argentinian police are now under impression that the star was being "preyed upon" by hotel staff who had been supplying him with narcotics. According to reports, the dealers gave him drugs as little as 24 hours after he was given the all-clear on a drugs test.

Officers are now interrogating two members of the luxurious CasaSur hotel's staff as they believe they were involved in the deals. These include a cleaner at the hotel, that has been frequented by some of the world's A-list stars.
Local media are reporting that the theory being built up by investigators is that Liam's hotel room sits just 15 miles away from one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the city. Leads being followed by officers reveal that a man suspected of supplying the substance matches with an address in the suburb of Lomas de Zamora.
It comes as more details of Liam's room continue to emerge as the investigation rages on. Footage from the room that has been released shows a smashed TV, white powder on the table, burnt tin foil and an empty Dove soap box.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a source said that hotel workers were giving Liam drugs after he checked into the hotel at 11pm local time. The insider said they did not know what narcotics were being supplied or how much Liam had shelved out for them.
However, American media has reported that the Strip That Down singer had been under the influence of Cristal, a hallucinogenic drug that can trigger psychotic episodes. This correlates with the "disturbing" and erratic behaviour staff and guests at the hotel had seen from the singer in the run-up to his death.
Since then, several members of staff at the hotel have been fired for their alleged involvement in selling drugs to the former X Factor star. It comes after Liam was given the all-clear by Argentinian authorities just one day before he fell 40ft to his death.
One of Liam's pals told the Sun newspaper that the For You star was in Argentina from September 30 while his American visa was being renewed. The source said that officials from the American embassy required Liam to take a drug test to prove he was clean before having the visa renewed.
"The embassy said Liam needed to do a strict investigation including X-rays and a blood test to search for traces of drugs," the insider said. "Liam had tried really hard to get clean, then he’s been preyed upon."
They added: "These people just care about money - they don’t care about putting people’s lives in danger. It’s an evil trade; this is all just tragic."
