Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy has appeared in public for the first time since his tragic death.
The 25-year-old influencer had been with Liam in Argentina just days before he tragically fell to his death from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday (October 16). Kate left the country just two days before the incident, and has now been seen for the first time since her partner died.
The actress appeared in Florida at the weekend, looking understandably downbeat in the wake of her boyfriend's passing. Kate was joined by two female friends at a pet shop to buy food for the dog she shared with Liam.

Kate was seen leaving Jake's Pet Supplies, sporting a make-up free face and wearing a pair of grey tracksuit bottoms. She was donning an oversized white T-shirt with the words "This Ain't Texas" sprawled across the front.
She would later drop her dog off at the Wellington home she had shared with the Strip That Down singer. The pair had been linked since 2022 and made their red carpet debut at the Fashion Awards in London in December of that year.
Kate recently spoke out about her relationship with Liam, taking to her Instagram to post a heartfelt tribute on Friday (October 18). Speaking fondly on the dad-of-one, Kate admitted she was at "a complete loss" after the news of his death broke.
Penning a lengthy statement, she wrote: "Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam."
She went on to add: "Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private."
Kate and Liam had made their way to the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires to support Liam's former bandmate Niall Horan as he toured. Enjoying their time in the country, the pair opted to extend their stay, but after two weeks of sunning themselves, Kate opted to leave.
Speaking about her decision to leave on TikTok, Kate said: "Honestly, love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long. And we were supposed to be there for, like, five days, turned into two weeks; I was just like, ‘I need to go home’."
It comes after it was reported Kate is feeling "betrayed" and "hurt" after police questioned two escorts claiming they partied with Liam before he died. According to Daily Mail, the duo say they were hired for a client at the CasaSur Hotel via an online platform.
The escorts reportedly said they "drank alcohol" with Liam but denied using any drugs with him. A source told Argentine news outlet Clarin: "The witnesses were co-operative, not only in their statements but also in offering access to their phones."
The two women, who admitted being sex workers, said they arrived at the Argentinian hotel at 11.30am and didn't leave until around 4pm, claiming they stayed longer because they hadn't been paid.
A source, an alleged friend of Kate's, claims she feels "betrayed" after hearing about Liam's meeting with the escorts. They told The New York Post: "She just has heard about the prostitutes. She knew nothing about that. She just said she has to wrap her mind around it."
The source added: "That's obviously a huge betrayal to her, and that hurts a lot. She hasn't stopped crying. She's devastated. She's got a good support system around her, but this just went from bad to worse. She's not OK."
"She has a few people around her, including family members. She's not alone. She's responsive to me and our other friends. We'll all help her however we can."
Liam fell from a balcony at the same hotel in Buenos Aires and died instantly. The Teardrops singer fell from around 13 or 14 metres, sustaining "very serious injuries incompatible with life."
New reports have suggested Liam's remains could stay in Argentina for between 10 and 15 days as toxicological tests are run. His body will be repatriated to England and returned to his family in England once the results of the tests have been determined.
