Liam Payne's grief-stricken girlfriend Kate Cassidy packed the remains of her shattered life into cardboard boxes as she reportedly moved out of his property.
Kate, who said her final farewell to Liam at his funeral two weeks ago, vacated the high-rise apartment on Tuesday, it is understood. The American model and influencer was spotted holding on tightly to a cuddly toy, a colourful squishmallow which was too big to pack into her luggage, it is reported.
The 25-year-old woman became tearful as a friend helped her load stacks of boxes and suitcases into a van. The remains of the life she once had with the One Direction star had been gathered and moved on, though Kate is understood to find it tough to follow suit.
The model will now fly back to the US to spend Christmas with her family, according to reports. It'll be a poignant time of the year as, just months prior, she had been planning her future with 31-year-old Liam.

Kate, who had been dating the singer for two years, travelled to Britain to join Liam’s family and close friends at an emotional funeral service at the 12th Century St Mary’s Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Since then, Kate had been staying alone at the modern apartment building in southeast London, where two bedroom flats exchange hands for up to £2million.

Mail Online says Kate had planned to live with her partner at a mansion near Miami, Florida.
After Liam’s death, Kate revealed in an emotional social media post how they had sat down to map out their future together. Posting a series of heartwarming images highlighting their adventures Kate told how she had ‘lost the best part of myself’ following the singer’s death.
Kate wrote: "I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone - millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me."
