Lil Wayne criticizes the Kansas City Chiefs, labelling them as 'cheats'

The Kansas City Chiefs advanced to the AFC Championship Game with a 24-13 win over the Houston Texans on Saturday.

However, the game was not without its share of drama, both on and off the field, as questionable officiating and high-profile celebrity appearances stole headlines.

Rapper and avid NFL fan Lil' Wayne didn't hold back his frustration with the officiating. After the game, he accused the Chiefs of benefiting from unfair calls.

"It's not even impressive when u cheat and then clearly try to cheat. Just win baby. I hate the cheating azz Chiefs," Wayne posted on Twitter.

While the game unfolded on the field, the Chiefs' skybox became a focal point of attention. Music superstar Taylor Swift, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, joined basketball sensation Caitlin Clark to cheer on the team. Swift and Clark, dominant figures in their respective fields, were seen celebrating as the Chiefs secured the win.

Kelce delivered a standout performance with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes added 177 passing yards and a touchdown, completing 16 of 25 passes without throwing an interception.

The Texans put up an impressive fight, outgaining the Chiefs in total yards (336-212), passing yards (187-162), and time of possession (33:43 to 26:57). However, the Chiefs capitalized in the fourth quarter to pull away after holding a narrow 13-12 lead through three quarters. Houston's only points in the final period came from a safety on Chiefs punter Matt Araiza.

With the win, the Chiefs now await the result of Sunday's Ravens-Bills matchup to determine their opponent in the AFC Championship Game.
