Love Island: All Stars is set to hit our screens once again later this month, but some fans are certain that one of the contestants will not be staying in the villa for too long
Luca Bish asks Gemma Owen to be his girlfriendLove Island fans are convinced one contestant will be quitting the show after one day.
The new series of the ITV dating titan is set to hit screens later this month, after the cast was revealed by bosses on Tuesday (January 7). The cast is set to see the return of the likes of Scott Thomas and Kaz Crossley, who have become big fan favourites over the years after their stints in the Love Island villa.
However, as the contestants gear up for a new season in the sun, hoping to find the love of their lives, some fans have spotted a telltale sign that one star will not last long on the new season. It comes after clips of each of this year's hopefuls were released to the public, as they give their reasonings for coming back to the villa.
Fans of the show were running through each of the contestants' clips when they discovered that Luca Bish appeared less enthusiastic to be heading back into the villa for a second stint. Some fan were left bewildered at his bizarre clip, with many claiming the former ITV star "looked miserable" as he was recording his clip.
In the compilation video, all of this year's singletons were asked a number of different questions about themselves, similar to that of speed dating. But while most of the stars appeared confident and beaming with smiles during their answers, former fishmonger Luca was stoic, refusing to even smile for the cameras.
Fans were left confused at the shift in tone from Luca, and took to social media to vent their frustrations. One disgruntled fan fumed under the video: "He's definitely walking."
A second account chimed in: "Nah, someone was onto something when they said Luca might pull a Jake and walk because the guy already looks agitated. Ain't no way he's going in there with a game plan it won't work with this attitude."
Whilst a third viewer added their own thoughts: "I felt like Luca was being held at gun point the first half of that vid. He perked up towards the end but he does know nobody is forcing him to be there, the miserable sod."
Meanwhile a fourth user, unhappy to see Luca in the final line-up was all too thrilled he was not liking his experience in the show so far: "Luca acting like he doesn’t even want to be there. Not to worry we will vote you out shortly."
Luca was a controversial figure when he waltzed into the villa during the series' eighth season in 2022, eventually losing out to Ekin-Su and Davide. He had been dating horse girl Gemma Owen, 21, during the show - and it was obvious the pair were falling for each other.
However, fans were not happy with Luca, as many called him out for his controlling and coercive behaviour, which grew so strong that ITV bosses had to tell Luca to calm down. Luca and Gemma would eventually split just three months after the final of the show, but continue to keep things civil.
The new series of Love Island starts on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
