A Love Island star was forced to miss filming an episode after falling ill.
Amy Hart, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2019, was due to carry out her presenting duties when she was stuck by an illness. She once dated Curtis Pritchard, who is currently starring in this year's Love Island All Stars series. This week, Amy was set to film the latest episode of The Morning After podcast with fellow Islander Indiyah Polack.
However, Amy was forced to pull out due to sickness that has lasted three weeks. Amy, who is a proud mum to son Stanley, revealed she was "dripping in sweat and shivering" due to the nasty illness. She revealed she would need to take some time out from work in the hopes of recovering.
Amy told her fans: "No podcast for me this evening after three weeks of 'pushing through because surely I'll have to get better at some point, I can't be ill forever?! I've realised I'm never going to get better if I don't rest." The reality star thought she was feeling better before her illness took a turn for the worse again.

I've now got swollen glands, earache and swing between being dripping in sweat and being so cold I'm shivering in a thermal base layer, big thick jumper, huge duvet and a blanket."
Amy insisted she would be back to work soon as she added: "I'm hoping if I can sleep for a 12 hours tonight, I'll be back tomorrow." Last week, Amy defended her ex Curtis after drama unfolded in the All Stars villa. He has been coupled up with Ekin-Su, yet they faced tension when bombshell Danielle Sellers arrived.
While on her podcast, Amy said she thinks Curtis is “a nice guy who doesn’t want to upset people.” She said: “I don’t know why I am defending him but what I will say about Ekin asking him outright ‘do you think we are moving too fast?’ and he said no, I think he is just a nice guy who doesn’t want to upset people, he doesn’t like confrontation. I think he may be worrying that he has been too nice to everyone.”
Amy previously gave her honest opinion on Curtis entering the Love Island All Stars villa by rating all the entrants via her Instagram. Amy told fans: “One line about each member of the Love Island All Stars cast, let’s go,” before pointing to each cast member and giving her verdict. When it came to Curtis she said: “Curtis - I like his new hair and I know he’ll be a great support to everyone in the villa.”
Amy and Curtis were one of the most famous couples on Love Island nearly six years ago, with Curtis, now 28, coupled-up with Amy for much of his time on the ITV2 show in 2019. However, they parted ways weeks into their romance after Casa Amor, where he had shown interest in new islander Jourdan Riane.
