Love Island Star Luca Bish’s sister reacts after viewers share same opinion

7 hours ago 8

Luca Bish returned to Love Island seeking a second chance at love during this year's All Stars show, but his somber appearance has raised concerns among viewers.

After struggling to connect romantically with anyone so far and appearing down in some episodes, fans have voiced their concerns for the star.

Luca had been chosen by the public to couple up with Olivia Hawkins, although the pair had quickly shut any romantic connection down.

Since then, Luca has expressed his struggles with forming romantic connections this time around, leading viewers to believe he has withdrawn and become "really quiet," a sharp contrast to his behaviour during his first appearance on the show.

Fans quickly noticed the difference in the islander, taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their concerns.

One worried fan wrote: "Luca doesn’t seem like himself wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up leaving early #loveisland #loveislandallstars #allstars."

Another penned: "why does Luca seem sad this season ? #LoveIsland" along side a crying face emoji. A third chimed in writing: "I am convinced Luca is only in here for the money. He looks bored as hell #LoveIsland #AllStars."

Although his sister Claudia has taken to social media to clear things up. Claudia is looking after Luca's socials whilst he is in the villa, writing on his story, she stated: "I definitely don't think it's that he 'doesn't want to be there' at all."

Luca's sister was quick to speak out about fans concerns

"I think it's just a case of him knowing he's not got a romantic connection with anyone in there as of yet, whereas everyone else has gone pretty head first quite quickly."

"I watch the show like a HAWK and pick up on the little shots of him messing around and laughing with them all in the background of different scenes which is so reassuring. He is still bringing the one liners - we can't all smiles 24/7."

Before she admitted: "He's surprisingly the biggest overthinker so he's likely just soooo in his head about being the only one in the villa with no connection. Someone will come in for him I'm sure.

Very proud of him for not forcing it for the sake of it and it's lovely he's not shying away from his vulnerable side."

Luca first rose to fame on Love Island in 2022, reaching the final that summer with his ex, Gemma Owen, the daughter of Premier League and England legend Michael Owen.

Before going into the Villa this time around, he spoke to The Sun about his ex Gemma, stating: "If Gemma walks back in... I'd walk out. I'd probably say 'I'm a Love Islander, Get Me Out'."

He added: "I'd back her all the way and just hope she'd have a better experience than last time."

Addressing whether or not he would get back with his ex, Luca said: "No, you can read a book twice but the ending never changes, that's how I look at stuff like that... sorry Gemma."
