Madison LeCroy reminded Craig Conover “there is so much to look forward to” after Paige DeSorbo broke up with him.
The Southern Charm beauty is confident Craig will have better days ahead.
Madison spoke out about Craig and Paige’s split:
During an Amazon Live, Madison was asked what advice would benefit Craig right now. “I don’t need to give him any advice,” responded Madison.
“I just told him, ‘You’re going to be a great husband. You’re going to be a great dad one day.” There is “so much to look forward to.”
She also put the big picture in perspective for the Sewing Down South founder. “Just be lucky you didn’t already have those things and then go through a breakup.”
Madison is making herself available to Craig in case he needs a friend. “I’m here to hype him up when he’s down. I’ll do that for anyone really.”
Despite how the breakup has appeared online, Madison thinks Craig and Paige are doing a good job navigating these tough – and awkward – times. “But, they’re still good. I think everything’s going to be fine.”
Madison playfully doubled down on the Bravoholics watching her livestream. “I think you guys are taking it a lot harder than they are.”
The breakup:
On December 30th, Paige announced on her podcast, Giggly Squad, that she and Craig were no longer dating.
The Summer House‘s stunner said, “Craig and I have decided to no longer be together. It’s weird. I wasn’t expecting this, obviously, when we started dating. As you get older, I started dating Craig when I was 29, I’m 32 now. In your ’30s, women, really are very transformative. You change a lot and grow a lot.”
“Not to sound traditional and old-fashioned, this is not a situation where I have a 50-part series of Who the F*ck Was I Dating? Like, could not be more opposite.”
“I have so much love and respect for Craig. [He’s] one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life. I’ll remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him. He truly will get the best because he’s the best.”
“But, with that said, I think it was the right decision for both of us in our lives and the direction that our lives are going in. It’s a very sad thing.”
Craig, on the other hand, was surprised Paige ended their relationship:
“This has all been very, very unexpected … to say the least. But, life has to [go on.] I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like. Whatever my ‘new normal’ looks like, I have to start.”
“I’m still processing everything, which is normal. It was a three-year relationship. It’s your best friend that you talk to all day, every day, and then they’re just gone.”
“That’s life,” acknowledged Craig. Now, he moves forward, taking the “advice that I give when I speak at home shows.” He vowed to “practice what I preach and believe it.” Craig also has faith that “everything happens for a reason.”
