Madison LeCroy shares her thoughts surrounding Olivia Flowers departure from Southern Charm.
In an interview with US Weekly, Madison reflects on her friendship with Olivia Flowers and how it never fully got to “blossom.”
“We were just exploring being close,” Madison begins.
“I don’t think we had that full experience to being best friends or anything. But let’s just say I was very surprised.”
In Case You Missed It: Ahead of season 10 of Southern Charm, Olivia confirmed her exit from the franchise after only 2 seasons.
Olivia shared her truth with Scheana Shay on the Scheananigans podcast last summer.
“I got the call like, a few weeks before filming. The production company was just like, ‘You don’t really seem to be in Charleston that much. We’re noticing on your Instagram you’re in Texas, you’ve got this new boyfriend, and it just seems like you’re choosing a different path.”
Olivia felt “blindsided” by Bravo’s decision to go down a “different path” but wishes there “had been more communication there.”
From Charleston with Love
Madison revealed that she and Olivia have stayed in touch since the reunion filmed, but they don’t talk frequently.
“At the end of the day she got her happy ending. Maybe Austen [Kroll] is ‘Good Luck Chuck’”
“I don’t think she’s upset about it,” Madison teased.
Madison and Olivia got a reputation for being “mean girls” during the season 9 reunion.
Hudson’s mom came to Olivia’s defense when she confronted Taylor Ann Green for kissing Austen Kroll (Olivia’s ex.)
Page Six posted screen grabs from the reunion, highlighting the moments of Madison supporting Olivia over Taylor. When the comments began dragging the duo, Madison entered the chat.
“I guess I should’ve played victim. I forgot we don’t hold people accountable for anything these days. Enjoy y’all’s sleepover.”
“Mean girls, isn’t that so 2004?
