Madonna takes stage at comedy club with surprise standup gig as star stuns fans with foul-mouthed set and dig at Trump

MADONNA took the stage at a New York comedy club with a surprise standup gig this weekend, leaving fans stunned with her foul-mouthed set and dig at President Trump.

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal the Material Girl was testing out new material on stage at the Comedy Cellar on Saturday night after being brought to the club by her good pal, Amy Schumer. 

A source said the stunned audience took time to warm up to seeing the 66-year-old mega-pop star perform before them in the club, which has a capacity of just 150 people.

The insider said, "She was brought to the club by Amy. She did a full 30-minute set.

"She did well enough, but the audience was so stunned it was Madonna that it took them the entire set to warm up to her.

"She didn't do as well as you'd think she would, she got laughs every time she dropped F-bomb, because just hearing Madonna curse is funny.

"She also nailed a joke about how with all of these Trump deportations she's not going to have any staff left, which got some laughs, but really everyone was just so shocked she was there."

Comedian Jon Laster hosted at the Cellar and had to navigate the bemused crowd after Madonna's set. 

The source added that she left ten minutes after her performance.

PAST SHOW

This is not the first time Madonna has taken the stage at the famed comedy club.

Back in 2017, in a very similar scene, her old pal Amy brought her on stage and performed together.

Madonna wrote on social media at the time "I was tagging along with @amyschumer at @NYCComedyCellar. Making my standup debut! What a thrill. Finally busted my cherry. Thank you Amy!”

LOVE LIFE

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Madonna and her boyfriend, former footballer Akeem Morris, 28, sparked rumors of an engagement. 

The couple, who took their romance public in July, has been dating for about 6 months.

During the holiday, the loved-up couple were also joined by her children Lourdes, 28, Rocco, 24, David, 19, Mercy, 18, and twins Estere and Stella, 12.

A source told The U.S. Sun that love looks good on the Like a Prayer singer.

“Madonna is happier than she has been in a long time.

"Her romance with Akeem has been a real whirlwind but they are so in love."

The suspected engagement ring is from brand ­Bijules, which offers bespoke bridal bands among its jewelry.

The icon was previously married to actor Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989, and then director Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008.

During a 2022 Q&A about her life, she said her worst idea was “Getting married. Both times.”

Madonna met Jamaican-born Akeem on a photo shoot for Paper magazine in August 2022 after she split from her boyfriend of three years, dancer Ahlamalik Williams, 30.

Madonna has reportedly said she wants to “live life to the fullest” after a near-fatal bacterial infection in 2023 landed her in intensive care.

She also said she is ready to release her first album in six years.
