TikTok sensation The Foodie Parent has taken the humble sausage roll to festive heights with a Christmas-inspired twist that's gone viral.

In his November video, he wrote: "These festive sausage rolls will fill you with Christmas cheer."

To complement the festive treat, he also suggested serving them with gravy, saying: "Perfect as part of a meal with mash, roasts, or simply dipped in a bowl of gravy."

The clip has racked up over 2.4 million views and sparked a flurry of comments from impressed foodies, reports Daily Record.

One viewer recommended: "I would do it with caramelised chutney instead as I don't like cranberry."
