Mandy Moore isn't holding back on those who have a problem with her helping out family amid the wildfires that have engulfed Los Angeles.

In a message posted on Instagram on Thursday, January 9, the This Is Us actress revealed her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Griff and Kit Goldsmith, lost their home and all their belongings in the Eaton Fire.

"With their first baby on the way in a matter of weeks, they need our support now more than ever," Moore wrote, explaining that Griff, who is her husband Taylor Goldsmith's brother, is a touring musician and lost his entire arsenal of instruments he uses to make a living.

"It's all so much," continued Moore, 40, adding, "So many have asked how to help during this unimaginable and stressful time...Please consider donating and sharing to help them rebuild."

She then shared in her bio a link to a GoFundMe.

Moore later hinted that she was receiving backlash for raising awareness of the GoFundMe to benefit her extended family. She pointed out in the edited caption that "people questioning whether we're helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic."

"Of course we are," Moore insisted, explaining that her friend and Hilary Duff's husband, Winnetka Bowling League frontman Matthew Koma, "started this GoFundMe and I'm sharing because people have asked how they can help them."

The star then added that she and her family had "just lost most of our life in a fire too."

She concluded the post: "Kindly F OFF. Noone is forcing you to do anything."
