Love Island star Maura Higgins has been left "worried" about what her ex-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard might say if he joins the cast of Love Island All Stars.
The pair met on the show in 2019 when Maura arrived as a bombshell enjoying a brief flirtation with Tommy Fury before eventually finding love with Curtis. But their relationship very quickly dwindled in the outside world with them calling it quits eight months after they left the villa.
Maura is now reportedly dating TOWIE star Pete Wicks, with her romance seemingly going from strength to strength, but Curtis is single and said to be looking for love once again on the second series of the all star version of the ITV show. And it's thought Curtis could make for awkward viewing if he discusses his past with Maura.
A source said: "Curtis signing for All Stars is more than awkward for Maura just as she’s fallen for Pete and they’ve finally gone public with their love. Her break-up with Curtis wasn’t the best and Maura always worried he’d be the ex that could blab."

As it stands Curtis and Maura had not seen each other for quite some time until recently after rumours that their relationship ended when he cheated on her.
However, they recently had a very awkward reunion when he took part in the Love Island Games which Maura works on as a presenter. At the time Curtis was booted off of the show, and went through a parting interview - with his ex Maura.
In a clip from the reunion, the exes were shown standing awkwardly as they waited for the interview to begin. Breaking the silence, Curtis asked how Maura’s family was, but the duo fell silent again after she confirmed that they were “good.”
The official interview then began, with Maura introducing: "Hello everyone I'm now joined by our next Islander to leave the villa, who is the lovely Lisa's couple, Curtis.” She and Curtis both started chuckling awkwardly, before Maura said "Long time no see Curtis,” as her former boyfriend cringed.
Maura then went for the jugular, and hinted that Curtis might have been playing games with his partner Lisa Celander. "You were coupled up with Lisa, but you were clearly getting to know some of the other girls, there was a lot of flirting going on,” she said as Curtis ducked his head.
Curtis admitted that he came out of the villa with “regrets,” and should have considered recoupling with Justine Ndiba. Hearing this, Maura turned to the camera and announced: “He still has no balls, guys!” Curtis then said: “And she would know!” pointing at Maura as she couldn’t control her laughter. “Savage,” Curtis proclaimed, as he mimed stabbing himself in the heart.
The new series of Love Island All Stars is set to start on January 13 and it's believed Curtis will be a late arrival as a bombshell. Among those being linked with a return are past favourites Grace Jackson, Luca Bish and Liv Hawkins. Fans are also convinced 28-year-old footballer Ronnie Vint - who was a huge hit with viewers last season - is a dead cert for the upcoming spin-off.
