Maura Higgins shows off 'dream house' - with huge kitchen - as she splashes I'm A Celeb cash

Former Love Island star Maura Higgins has purchased her 'dream home' as she showed off her stunning new kitchen following her stint in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Maura Higgins has revealed she's purchased her dream home and showed off its impressive kitchen.

The Love Island star, 34, reflected on the past year as she detailed her most memorable moments to her fans. She had a big year as she stepped back onto screens with her stint in I'm A Celebrity and has been loved up with TOWIE's Pete Wicks. In her personal life, Maura has also made a series of huge achievements.

She has settled into her dream property as well as buying herself a luxury £60k Porsche. Maura gave fans a look into her home as she showed off her dazzling kitchen featuring a huge island and waterfall chandelier. It features grey and cream cabinets with black worktops and a large bifold door opening out into the garden.

Alongside the snap, Maura said: “Bought my dream home." She also shared her other highlight, which was buying her Porsche. Maura posted a photo of her new car under a black cover with a big red bow on top. The TV star revealed she made the purchase after her last car "went up in flames".

Maura's Porsche Macan can cost anywhere between £60k and £98k. She unveiled her new vehicle back in November as she gushed: "My baby has arrived finally." Maura has become inseparable with her new boyfriend Pete Wicks since arriving back in the UK following her time in the Australian jungle.

They appear to be falling for each other hard after first sparking rumours of a romance in August. Their romance survived near immediate challenges - as rumours raged that Pete had grown close to his Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Jowita Przystał, 30, sparking fears the fabled Strictly Curse could tear him away from Maura.

Since reuniting, the couple appear to be closer than ever and have been immersing themselves in luxury. They spent the Christmas period together in Maura's native Ireland - where they stayed at the four star Glasson Lakehouse Spa & Golf Club in Glasson, County Westmeath.

After touching back down in England, the couple decamped to Pete's native Essex where they enjoyed a lavish meal at reality star haunt Sheesh. They then travelled over to the Cotswolds to check into A-List country escape, Soho Farm House - which attracts huge stars like David and Victoria Beckham and Meghan Markle.

Maura shared a video of a crackling fire on her social media platforms, adding a caption stating: "Checked into the Farm" and adding a soundtrack of Nat King Cole's Let's Fall In Love. Further snaps shared on her Instagram Stories showed her in bed watching The Grinch with a huge chandelier hanging above her bed.

While on This Morning, Maura confessed she slipped up during her time in the I'm A Celebrity camp as she pined for Pete. She said: "You do forget about the cameras, and I do like to keep things private. But let's be real, I said it. I can't remember saying it, but I said the words 'I miss him'. I do miss him, like I missed all my friends and family. Honestly, he's been so supportive, honestly. I didn't know if he was still in Strictly and I'm so proud of him, he's proud of me, and I can't wait to see him when I get back."
