Meek Mill wants parents to make sure their children aren't following DJ Akademiks on social media after a video emerged showing him and other men talking to 15-year-old streamer and friend to Plaqueboymax, Nourgxd, about sex.
"If your a parent go get ya kids phone and block this man he’s grooming children with a very large platform that 'kids' like… also attempts to ruin black families and black success daily 'VILLAN IN THE VILLAGE,' Meek tweeted over the weekend.
Earlier this week, the former Everyday Struggle co-host was involved in an uncomfortable chat with Nour, where he asked the young streamer questions about his sexuality and whether he'd consider a relationship with Max. At one point, Ak suggestively asked if he'd drink a "PBM" juice that tasted like milk.
Akademiks then attempted to defend himself in a Twitch stream, where he swore that he never needed to be on streams with Max, Kai Cenat or Adin Ross to find success.
"I've got my own thing going on!" Ak shouted in the clip below. "The fuck! So when I see this shit–this shit piss me off. Bro, I'm over here fucking with these n***s, supporting them."
Ak also accused the younger streamers of "kicking his back in." "I get nothing from it. ... I support them because I like these guys," he added.
Max followed up by asking Ak to "take accountability" and apologize, which the streamer ultimately did.
"I've said this multiple times... Listen, that conversation that people saw in that clip is not supposed to be a normal conversation between anybody who is of age and somebody who is underage," Ak admitted.
Freddie Gibbs even seemingly addressed the allegations against his longtime rival, succinctly calling him a “bitch” on X.
