New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is one of the biggest stars in Major League Baseball today. He made his debut with the Bronx Bombers in 2016 and since then has been named the American League Rookie of the Year, the AL MVP, the Yankees captain, a three-time Silver Slugger, and a six-time All-Star.
As for his life off the baseball diamond, Judge prefers to keep his marriage to Samantha Bracksieck pretty private. However, the two have been photographed many times together over the years, and one striking thing in every photo is their very noticeable height difference even when Bracksieck is wearing heels. That has led to the question many fans have asked: How much taller is Judge than his wife?
Judge doesn’t speak publicly about Bracksieck often
Judge doesn’t usually speak publicly about his wife, however, he did mention Bracksieck’s name during a press conference when he decided to re-sign with the Yankees before inking a nine-year $360 million deal.
“Thank you to everybody [and] my wife, Samantha,” Judge said as he stood alongside Bracksieck. “[My wife and I] came to the decision that was in our hearts, which is we belong in New York. We belong in this city.”
More recently, he spoke during an interview for the Casa de Klub podcast about the phone call he got from team owner Hal Steinbrenner to be the Yankees Captain.
“I was more speechless about that than hearing about a nine-year deal,” Judge recalled. “Sam was hitting me like, ‘You gotta be saying something.’ It was special.”

Judge and Bracksieck are fans of other sports too
Baseball isn’t the only sport Judge and Bracksieck enjoy. The two have been seen attending many other sporting events over the years.
The couple stood on the sidelines during a football game at their alma mater, Fresno State, a few years back. They were later spotted sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden for a New York Knicks game against the Boston Celtics. And also at the Barclays Center to see a Brooklyn Nets playoff game against the Celtics.
They were seen in the stands at the U.S. Open as well taking in some matches in 2022 and 2023.
