Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are on cloud 9 after announcing they’re expecting their first child together, and an insider exclusively tells In Touch that they believe the pregnancy was “meant to be.”

“Megan and MGK are super excited about welcoming their rainbow baby. Especially after going through such a rough patch in their relationship,” the source exclusively tells In Touch two days after the announcement. “They feel fully united and enthusiastic.”

One year before Megan, 38, announced her current pregnancy, she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in her poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, which was released in November 2023.

“They’re preparing for the arrival by decorating the nursery, her kids helped, and she’s taking every precaution necessary. They say this is their little miracle baby since she miscarried before,” the insider continues about the couple.

In addition to setting up the nursery, the source explains that Megan and MGK, 34, have “come up with some very unique names that work for a girl or a boy.” However, “they’re keeping the gender secret for now.”

“All their kids are excited, her boys want a little sister and Cassie, MGK’s 15-year -old, has promised to babysit,” the insider adds. “Even Megan’s ex Brian Austin Green congratulated her on the baby news. Everyone is happier about this arrival.”

While MGK shares Casie with ex Emma Cannon, Megan and ex-husband Brian, 51, are the parents to sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10 and Journey, 8.

The Transformers actress shocked fans when she announced that she and MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – are expecting their first child together in an Instagram post shared on Monday, November 11.

“Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” she captioned a photo of herself cradling her baby bump, as well as a snapshot of a positive pregnancy test.

One year before the pregnancy announcement, Megan candidly opened up about her miscarriage during a November 2023 appearance on Good Morning America. “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” she said at the time.

MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – also opened up about Megan’s miscarriage on his song “Don’t Let Me Go,” which was released in February. “How can I live with the fact/ That my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby,” he sings on the track.
